You may have heard the phrase ” you get what you pay for”
Having had a bathroom designed and installed by Martin and his team I don’t think this is true. I feel that I got more than I paid for.
What we got far exceeded what I had anticipated of the bathroom and everyone who has seen the new bathroom has been overwhelmed by its style and the quality of the workmanship, from the first visit to measure the space available, through discussing the design, to the install Martin was professional and had exacting standards for all aspects of the job.
He was more interested in the work being completed to a high standard than cutting corners. He gave good recommendations for where to purchase tiles and flooring, which saved me money on better quality products. I look forward to many years of enjoying my new bathroom.

We used Bathroom & Kitchen Installations for a complete refit of our bathroom including replacing the bath with a walk in shower.
From the first time we met Martin to discuss our ideas we were impressed, particularly when he stated that he endeavours to keep to time scales but he will not rush at the expense of doing the job right, his wife Natalie supplied a couple of versions of the design and we were able to discuss them and make adjustments.
When the work started the job was first rate, and considering the extent of the work was done as tidily as you could expect – at the end of every day we would know Martin was getting ready to go by the sound of the vacuum cleaner, we now are hoping to do something similar to the Kitchen and our first call will be to Martin.
We are more than happy to recommend them as our bathroom looks better than we ever imagined it would do.

We had a complete new bathroom fitted by Martin in June 2017.
From initial enquiry to final completion of the installation, we have nothing but praise for the professional and caring service we received. Nothing was too much trouble.
The design process, from discussing our first thoughts through to the agreed design, was “painless”, bearing in mind the hundreds of suites and sizes available. The actual work in clearing out the old bathroom, cutting out the channelling for pipe work, preparing the floor, walls and ceiling was done efficiently and with the minimum of disruption to the rest of the house. The new bathroom taking shape was wonderful to watch.
We are delighted with the final outcome and knew that we could rely on Martin should any snags occur. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bathroom & Kitchen Installations to anyone contemplating having a new bathroom or kitchen

Martin recently installed our family bathroom, which he did to a very high specification.
Our kitchen by comparison looked dowdy and dated. Martin suggested we replace the existing doors with bespoke oak doors, spray painted in our choice of colour, our kitchen now looks absolutely amazing and at a fraction of the price. Not only have we saved money, but we have our dream kitchen.

At the first meeting Martin took the bathroom measurements and noted our observations as to what we wanted to achieve.
Two weeks later we had a presentation of our virtual bathroom on his computer which had been prepared by his wife Natalie, We found this presentation very useful.
The bathroom is quite compact so that only one person was able to do the work, The work was done in about 2 ½ weeks to a very high standard. It was a difficult job because of the small space and very hard tiles.
Well done to all concerned. We have no hesitation in recommending this company if you are considering a bathroom installation

We needed a new bathroom. Martin visited our home at a convenient time in the evening and, after listening to what we wanted, started to draw some plans and left us with some brochures to look at.
Martin gave us a date to start for the work and started on the agreed date. There were a few unexpected adjustments mainly caused by water damage which had happened unknown to us in the preceding months. Martin was quickly able to suggest and implement a solution. We are absolutely delighted with our new bathroom, it feels very luxurious and a is great use of the space

Martin came to give us a quote to refurbish our bathroom and separate loo. He brilliantly suggested that we knock the two rooms into one, making a large bathroom.
We are so delighted with his workmanship, ethics and professionalism. The quote for the job was competitively fair, especially as the materials he used were of excellent quality.

From the moment that Martin came round to give us a quote for a new bathroom we knew we had made the right choice. Having had a number of other quotes Martin was able to give us more ideas as to what could be done and along with Natalie’s design the best solution to our needs.
It turned out I had taught Martin geography over 25 years ago (he still looked the same!) – he certainly knows his way around a bathroom! Some problems, out of Martin’s control, delayed the start of the work but Martin kept us informed throughout. Not by email or phone but by coming around personally to explain the problem. This goes a long way to giving you confidence that the job would be done well.
On fitting the bathroom, Bathroom & Kitchen Installations were conscientious, hardworking and reliable and kept us informed at every stage of the installation. Everything we suggested was took on board; excellent advice was offered and they tailored the bathroom to suit our requirements. Considering they were working throughout the installation in temperatures in excess of 30°C, they never flagged. Even when the original toilet had a fault which caused it to leak they worked late one Saturday to ensure we had a toilet to use, without complaint.
We have never had tradesman who left so little mess – indeed when they had finished, the house was cleaner than when they started!
We would have no hesitation in recommending Martin and Natalie to install a bathroom as they offer an excellent service before, during and after the installation. We love our new bathroom and have received numerous positive comments when friends come round – that says it all

Martin had been recommended to us and we previously had him and his team fit our bathrooms, as the work was carried out to a very high standard, naturally we asked him back to quote for our new kitchen. After an initial consultation it quickly became apparent that, as we had the space to extend, this would include a 25 square metre extension and the fitting of a 50 square metre dream kitchen.
Other works included a new utility room, cloakroom and boiler.
The tradesmen used were of the highest quality as were the completed works. We are absolutely delighted with the result. Martin is not the cheapest but, as with everything in life, you get what you pay for and we cannot recommend him enough

We employed Martin to do a partial refurbishment to our family bathroom and a complete redesign of our en-suite.
Natalie was able to interpret what we wanted into the design and her help to source the perfect fittings was invaluable. We have been delighted with the design and workmanship and both rooms were completed to a very high standard.
Martin encountered a few problems along the way but these were sorted out quickly and efficiently even when one problem occurred late at night. The after sales service we have received has been second to none. We were so pleased with the final results that we commissioned further work and now have a lovely, modern downstairs cloakroom too

We couldn’t be happier with our new open plan kitchen/dining room. I had an idea in my head of how I wanted it to look, but didn’t quite get there with other companies in terms of design.
Martin and Natalie spent a long time on the design with us with some great ideas to solve problems such as the boiler position, awkward corners (recommended the tambour unit Martin installed for something a bit different) and the ‘where do I put a radiator’ problem solved by a corner upright radiator, again an unusual touch. We had doors moved, a wall removed, new wooden flooring throughout downstairs (which was stained beautifully by Martin) as well as our lovely new kitchen.
The team were working in our house for about 6 weeks and it is also important that you are comfortable with them in the house, which we were, and everything was left clean – they even cleaned our decking outside for us!
The kitchen is a massive wow for us and we really enjoy the space it has given us and how well it works for us as a family and socially. We haven’t had any real snagging issues, but Martin was more than happy to come back and show us how to realign kitchen doors. We would (this being the second time we have used Martin) be more than happy to use him again for our next project and we remain in regular contact for advice on other issues we have around the home

Martin installed a glass shower door and removed horrible woodwork around my sink and substituted the sink. I had previously been told by another builder that the removal of the woodwork and substitution of the sink were tricky and they wouldn’t know the full extent of the work (and therefore the cost!) until they took it apart. Martin didn’t bat an eyelid; the work was carried out very efficiently and thoroughly.
He and his colleague ensured the least disruption possible in the house and carried out a good clean finish at the end of the job. I appreciate the great work done, thank you!

We wanted our en-suite bathroom totally refurbished and Martin knew exactly what would work best in the space. Once we had agreed on the work, he advised us on fittings and finishes, and I called a couple of times before the work started to get clarification. The company was extremely helpful with my queries.
Once Martin started the work, we were consulted every day to make sure that we were happy with the design and the progress. Their attention to detail was amazing and the quality of the work is excellent. They took a lot of care over their work and it was obvious that they took great pride in it. They went out of their way to help us achieve what we wanted.
The finished room is beautiful and we would not hesitate to use them again
